Reminder: As we enter the flu & cold season, we want to remind parents to keep their child home if they have flu-like symptoms or have been diagnosed with an illness that can be transmitted to others. If your child has a fever, they must stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medications. Also, if your child is vomiting or has diarrhea, please keep them home at least 24 hours after the last occurrence.

Dear Ridge View Community Members: The Ridge View Activities Department is still in search of some volunteers to help at our Winter sports activities. Here is a more detailed description of some of the positions we are looking to fill. Clock Operator- Only responsibility is to start and stop the clock. Scoreboard Operator - Runs the scoreboard including points and fouls and also operates the player panels. It may seem like a daunting task but can easily be learned. Announcer - Announces the starting lineups and reads introductory announcements If you could see yourself filling one of these roles on either a regular basis or fill in role please contact Activities Director Joel Brus at the High School. A couple of schedule announcements from the athletics department JH Girls Basketball has added a game to the schedule. They will now play this Thursday in Sloan against Westwood starting at five o'clock with 7th graders followed by the 8th grade game. The game was added late due to other opponents on our schedule being able to play one game. Tonight's HS Girls wrestling meet begins at 5:30

Ridge View Middle School hosted its annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 10. The event began with breakfast and was followed by a program. Twenty-two veterans attended. Each was introduced as he or she entered the room. The fallen comrade table ceremony was performed. The band and chorus played and sang special pieces to honor our special guests. Three flags were framed and presented by the high school industrial arts class. It was a special morning for the student and the community.
