Now that school is back in session, here is a reminder from Nurse Candi Graff regarding protocol to follow with illness:
Child Illness and exclusion criteria according to the IDPH for Respiratory illness (cough and cold symptoms) including Influenza, COVID-19, and RSV:
We no longer have any kind of quarantine or "5 day out rule". A student may return to school when they are fever free (100.4 or less) for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications AND respiratory symptoms are mild and improving. Also remember with vomitting and diarrhea, students must be 24 hours free of vomitting and/or diarrhea.

Mrs. Wiener’s 8th-grade Skills class practiced the habit “Begin with the End in Mind.” Their first attempt at the puzzle—without looking at the box—was frustrating! On the second attempt, with the box to see the finished product, the task became much easier.
